Our Philosophy

We are proud to say that our work always comes highly recommended. The reason for this is that we use high level staff that are trained and experienced in both their field of expertise and assessment and quality assurance matters. In addition we go out of our way to take on the particular philosophy of our clients and truly represent them where we undertake tasks for them.

Furthermore we believe that the client’s staff needs to be coached and mentored to take over the outsourced functions from us.

 

Our Facilitators and Consultants

Our team consists of many high level individuals, all with experience in quality assurance of ETD. They are often ex-SETA ETQA staff, where they were senior verifiers and evaluators. We learn constantly from each other and from our clients and can transfer our accumulated knowledge and skills to the staff of our clients. Our associates are situated in all the provinces and we can call upon for assistance as required.

  • The Assessment College is an ETDP SETA accredited education and training provider, accreditation number ETDP9963
  • We have an established quality assurance system and are listed as an SABS ISO 9001:2008 accredited company, Certificate Number LS 2949.
  • Assessment College is both an Approved Centre and a Quality Assurance Partner of City & Guilds.  Centre number: 848366

 

Broad - Based Empowerment Position

We are a Qualifying Small Enterprise. Our latest score card puts us at a Level 1 Contributor to Broad-Based Transformation. THis enables youto get more than hundred % credits on your score card for the amount you spend in procuring from us.

Liberty Lane Trading is a shareholder of Assessment College. Liberty is a 100% black owned company. Connie Mashaba is a director on our board and thus also an owner/manager.

Our high score is also due to indirect empowerment. We are actively assisting and developing over forty emerging enterprises. We have used these same SMMEs in 70% of our procurement. In addition, our volunteer work in the education and training arena contributes a full 20% to our score.

Organisations will add to their own BBBEE score card by procuring from us. Besides assisting a Qualifying Small Enterprise, our customers will get BBBEE recognition of 125% for purchases made from us.
